Shane Goudreau

Shane Goudreau, born in 1979 in Canada, is a self-taught artist celebrated for his expansive murals and innovative multimedia works. He launched his career in the early 2000s, collaborating with major clients like Molson Canadian, Bacardi, and the Canadian Armed Forces. Goudreau’s signature “acid-etched” technique uses bleach to create intricate, layered visuals. His most notable project is a nearly 20,000-square-foot interior mural in Kingston, Ontario, potentially doubling the size of the current Guinness World Record holder. Influenced by artists such as Norman Rockwell, Salvador Dali, and Kehinde Wiley, his work merges classical portraiture with contemporary street art. His murals and exhibitions span Canada, Europe, the Dominican Republic, and the U.S., including Art Basel Miami.
