Karl Striker

Karl Striker is a British street artist renowned for his guerrilla-style stencil graffiti that blends social commentary with bold, graphic imagery. Operating under a veil of anonymity, he employs spray paint and stencils to create provocative works on public structures, often without permission, blurring the lines between art and vandalism. One of his early pieces, “Location, Location, Location,” appeared on a dilapidated building in Stockton-on-Tees, humorously advertising it for sale after the area was dubbed one of the worst places to live. Striker's art has garnered international attention, with collectors across various continents acquiring his works, yet he remains steadfast in his belief that his identity should not overshadow the art itself. Eschewing formal art education, he views each piece as a learning experience, often embracing the unexpected outcomes as part of his evolving style.
