Epsylon Point

Epsylon Point, born in 1950 in Tours, France, is a pioneering figure in French urban art, renowned for his bold color stencils that confront social and political issues. After graduating from the National School of Fine Arts in Dijon in 1978, he began his artistic journey initially working in graffiti, painting, performance, and photography. In 1983, he introduced color stenciling to France, collaborating with fellow artist LaSigne in Paris's Balard district. Epsylon Point was a key participant in the 1985 gathering of the graffiti and urban art movement in Bondy, alongside notable artists such as Miss Tic, Blek le Rat, and Speedy Graphito. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions across Europe, including the opening of the Urban Nation Museum in Berlin in 2017, and continues to influence contemporary stencil art.
