Richard Orlinski

Richard Orlinski, born in 1966 in Paris, is a French sculptor renowned for his vibrant, faceted animal sculptures that bridge pop culture and contemporary art. After earning a degree in economics from the Sorbonne, he transitioned from real estate to art in 2004, debuting with a striking red resin crocodile that launched his signature "Born Wild" series. His works, symbolizing the transformation of primal instincts into positive emotions, are exhibited in over 90 galleries worldwide, making him the best-selling French contemporary artist since 2015. Beyond sculpture, Orlinski has collaborated with brands like Hublot and Disney, ventured into music with tracks like "Heartbeat" featuring Eva Simons, and hosted the TV series Sur les Murs on TV5Monde. In recognition of his contributions to the arts, he was named an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters in 2021.
