Harry Bunce

Harry Bunce, born in 1967 in a small Hampshire village, is a British artist celebrated for his distinctive fusion of folk art charm and urban edge. After studying Fashion and Textiles in Bristol and spending two decades in the fashion industry, a pivotal moment in 2007 reignited his passion for art. His work often features reimagined childhood characters—rabbits, foxes, and other woodland creatures—rendered with a subversive twist that challenges traditional narratives. Collaborations with renowned screen printers like Screen One have sharpened his graphic style, leading to exhibitions at prestigious venues including the Saatchi Gallery and a sold-out solo show, Harry Bunce / On Hold, in 2020. Now based in rural Somerset, he continues to create compelling art that blends nostalgia with a contemporary, and sometimes unsettling, aesthetic.
